Released Games

Projects with at least a playable demo go here. If your game is still in development and you don't have a public playable release, you should start a thread in the Games in Development section instead.
The Rules and Regulations applies to this forum. Please give these a read before posting. When Posting a Project in Released Games While "Completed Games" is for completed games, this forum section is for games that have a playable release, but aren't complete. If you aren't ready to release a public, playable demo, then you should create a thread in the In Development section instead. Threads must be approved by a staff member before they're public. If we do not approve your thread within 48 hours, you will receive a message from us with what is missing from the rules as listed below. If we do not hear from you after that, your thread will be deleted and not make it to public view. If you believe it did meet the requirements, or the requirements do not adequately apply to your projects, please get in touch with a staff member. The following are the requirements for your thread to be approved. Each thread must have a clear project description, and must state what engine and/or kit, if any, is being used. For instance, "RPG Maker XP," "Godot," or "Pokémon Essentials." Each thread must have a plot outline. Include a small write up or summary of your plot and or backstory. Try for a paragraph at least. It doesn't have to include spoilers or in-depth plot details, but try to capture people's interest. This may not always be applicable, as not all projects have a plot. Each thread must have a list of unique features. Include any features in your game that you believe will make it stand out from other projects, preferably in a list instead of a block of text. They don't have to be ground-breaking. Commonly used resources are not unique features, and generic statements like "new characters" do not count. Each thread must have at least four screenshots that are unique to your project and tell us something about what your project entails. As such, generic screenshots, such as an unmodified Pokémon Essentials screenshot, do not count towards this threshold. Make sure they're fairly different from one another. We don't want four screenshots of one area of your game or just of your interfaces. Each thread must credit the creators of all assets they did not create themselves. This includes credits for your engine/kit. All individuals in a kit or resource's credits must be included. Be absolutely positive that you're giving the full and correct credit when using public resources, and make sure to list any team members you might have working on the game. We take credits very seriously. Not crediting someone for something they created is considered content theft and is a very serious offense. No thread may use URL shorteners to share images, patch notes, game files or other miscellaneous file, or host any files directly on the Eevee Expo forums. Considering file-sharing websites for this, such as Mediafire or MEGA. You may not use URL shorteners for this. Threads in this section are required to have a demo download link that is accessible by anyone, i.e. without signing up for an account on a website, including Discord. Advertising a Discord server is allowed, but you shouldn't require the reader to sign up for another website and/or join your Discord server in order to play your game. Some important things to note regarding credits... If you aren't sure the proper credits for something you're using, do some searching to find out who made it. If you for some reason can't find out who made it, you shouldn't be using that resource. If you're using Pokémon Essentials, Luka's Elite Battle System, or some other widely used resource: be sure to credit them as well. Just because they're well known doesn't mean you don't have to credit them. If we find that you are using (private) resources without the author's permission and or without credit, there will be repercussions. This is considered content theft, and your project will be taken down. We will then require proof that you have permission, or to talk to the author ourselves. If you notice your content is being used against your wishes or you're not being credited for your work, please contact a staff member. We'll work with you and the offending project to make sure proper credit is given or the project will be removed from the forums. Posting in General The following things should be kept in mind when posting in a project thread: Project feedback is highly encouraged; if you see something in a project that you feel needs improvement, point that out, but be respectful about it. Keep in mind that it's ultimately the developer's project and it's their vision for the project. Not all posts have to be feedback; you can talk about how much you like the game (make sure to say what you like about it), ask questions about it, or talk about it in general! A project developer (usually) loves nothing more than people discussing what's going on in the game. Spam The following types of posts are considered spam and will be deleted. If you notice a post breaking this rule, please report it and move on. Posts asking for a release date. Posts asking for a download link. Posts asking if the game is finished. Posts asking if they can be a game tester, unless stated by the project author that they're looking for testers. Posts with little to no substance: (eg. "I like your game, it's cool!") Tell us why you like the game! Double posting. Please edit your post instead of double posting. If you're the thread author, you may double post if you have some new content to share.

One year ago, your gym leader title was revoked and you were forced into an early retirement. But when a new opportunity brings you to the Hallio region, you'll find yourself enveloped in a region-spanning conspiracy. Just like in any mainline game, you'll catch Pokemon and battle gym leaders, but you'll also ask questions, team up with characters, and investigate the history of the region to figure out Hallio's biggest secret: Who is the Beast? ~~ ❀ ~~ ❀ ~~ ❀ ~~ Pokémon Blooming Beast is a plot-focused fan game that still offers the traditional Pokémon experience. It includes: A fully-fledged conversation system with dynamic dialogue that reacts as you learn more An original region to explore with new fakemon and regional variants Gen 9 content Six difficulty settings ranging from easy to impossible New Game Plus lets you customize your replay experience Over 400 expressive talksprites A diverse regional dex Modified pseudo-legendary starters (yes, including Togepi!) A battle facility with endless replayability HMs usable from the PC, and other quality of life features Witty and charming writing alongside an engaging plotline And more! ~~ ❀ ~~ ❀ ~~ ❀ ~~ Woah, what's this "conversation system" in the bullet points above? I'm so glad you asked, theoretical person! As you meet new characters, you'll have the option to ask them about themselves, the history of the region, their opinion on other characters, and more! As you learn more, either through these interactions or by progressing through the game, the options you can ask each character will expand. Exploring these options will make characters more likely to sponsor you in your goal of becoming a gym leader, while also offering clues to piece together a dark secret that preys upon the Hallio region. Okay that's cool, but what if I just want to play it like a normal Pokémon game? That's fine, too! These conversation options are just that: options. You can still get a complete experience (at least up to gym 6, for now) without them. ~~ ❀ ~~ ❀ ~~ ❀ ~~ The full game is still in development, and we are open to feedback! The current version goes up to the 6th gym and has an estimated playtime of 10 hours, excluding optional content. Included in the game is a link to a playtester survey. This survey is optional, but recommended. It is the best way to support the game. This is the third of four chapters planned for Pokémon Blooming Beast. Each update is expected to take about a year to develop. Chapter 1: Hallio Lowlands (released) Chapter 2: Coreop Canyon (released) Chapter 3: Hallio Highlands Part 1 (released) Chapter 4: Hallio Highlands Part 2 (in development) The game includes all of chapters 1-3, which flow seamlessly into each other. For frequent progress reports on these upcoming updates, please consider joining our Discord server. If you're looking for a wiki, use this spreadsheet. If your question is not answered there, try asking on the Discord. ~~ ❀ ~~ ❀ ~~ ❀ ~~ Download link: Download Pokémon Blooming Beast v0.3.4 on itch.io ~~ ❀ ~~ ❀ ~~ ❀ ~~ ~❀ Thank you for checking out the game! ❀~

Pokémon Starrise is a fangame being made in RPG Maker XP/Pokémon Essentials v21.1. I've been working on it in my spare time as a one-man team for over a year now. DOWNLOADS: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1WMnsomGKlrHoo-2gXNwF3jhYn-yJWB4c?usp=sharing DISCORD: https://discord.gg/9wCNzNPQtS SUGGESTION FORM: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfVly8QG0onNqDgO3OHxZBNRk1BD5zrKPxePQ8Hpbif96BR5Q/viewform?usp=dialog PLOT: You wake up in a laboratory hidden in a cave, and are almost immediately handed a Pokémon and thrust out the door on an adventure with very little explanation. Your adventure, that of qualifying to challenge the region's eight Gyms and the Elite 4 to become the new Champion seems standard enough at first, but it quickly becomes apparent that not all is as it seems. Who are these people attacking you, and why? What happened to that abandoned island? What's the deal with those laboratories? What is the secret to the champion's strength? All this- and perhaps more- will be revealed, in time. This game primarily aims to be a new story set in an interesting world, with gameplay designed for Pokémon fans who want a challenge a bit tougher than the vanilla games usually offer, but not so tough that they can't play with their favorites. FEATURES (CURRENTLY IN THE GAME): -A wide selection of Pokémon from all 9 generations -Generation 9 battle mechanics -Several Pokémon with custom regional variants (and even a handful with custom convergent evolutions) -An in-game way to look up the stats, abilities, and evolution requirements of custom variants -Several custom moves (some being custom TMs, others being signature moves of custom variants) -A few custom abilities I've tried to keep balanced (all on custom variants) -Two challenging gyms, each with their own in-battle gimmicks (ex: permanent Grassy Terrain) -A Move Reminder in every Pokémon Center -Time-based evolutions are no longer time-based, and can be done whenever -Trade evolutions made possible in-game -All Egg Moves now learnable through Move Reminder (some only after evolving though) -An option to switch between Single and Double Battles -An option to switch between Classic and Modern EXP Share -HM Items -Sidequests -A sort of "superboss-lite" (Me!) with new teams after each gym who gives permanent buffs to shiny odds for each team beaten FEATURES (UNIMPLIMENTED BUT PLANNED): -The other six gyms, Elite 4, Champion, the rest of the plot, etc. -Regional variants for all 27 fully-evolved starters (already made, just not obtainable yet) -A difficulty setting -A post-game dungeon reminiscent of the Paper Mario games' Pit of 100 Trials -A functioning Union Room for trading and PVP, if that's even possible

Meet unforgettable classmates, build friendships, rivalries, and uncover strange rumors surrounding ancient ruins hidden throughout the campus grounds. With exploration programs reinstated after a mysterious suspension, something long buried begins to stir once more. What secrets lie beneath the surface of Aldana? And why does it feel like you're being watched? Your journey at Verdan Academy is about to begin. ...but not every lesson comes from a textbook. Interactions with other students (like Lara, Rei, Nina) affect story direction through an affinity system. Narrative-Driven Progression A branching storyline filled with secrets, ancient ruins, tension between factions, and moral choices. Dialogue and event outcomes can change based on earlier choices, making the story reactive and immersive. Enhanced Battle System Battles are visually impressive thanks to Elite Battle: DX, with animated intros, battle UI upgrades. Exploration & Side Quests Explore areas like the Whispering Ruins, Glintgrove Way, and Mantia Island, each with its own story hooks and encounter tables. Side quests flesh out characters and the world, including ruin investigations and hidden truths about Pokémon and the factions. This project was originally created for the InsertName Game Jam of 2025. Thank you to all the coordinators and players who made the event possible!

NOW IN OPEN BETA Download Link (MediaFire) | Discord Server Pokémon: Kanto Reloaded is a non-profit fan remake of the original Red/Blue (or more specifically FireRed/LeafGreen), created in Pokémon Essentials v20.1, with updated mechanics, extra maps, and a massively expanded roster of Pokémon, wrapped in a pseudo-random presentation to make no two playthroughs exactly the same. If you’ve played a Kanto game before, it’s a near-guarantee that you’ve faced down Brock with a Mankey and your starter, after wading through hordes of Caterpie and Weedle in Viridian Forest. Perhaps you chose Bulbasaur for the type advantage over the first three gyms. And you’ve definitely braced yourself for an onslaught of Zubat in Mt. Moon. That predictability is what Reloaded seeks to eliminate, instead presenting you with a game in which you’ll never quite know what’s around each corner - and in which every single playthrough is unique. You’ll still get all that nostalgic Gen 1 goodness (in GBA graphics style), but you might run into Starly, Wurmple, and Weedle in the Forest, while another player is catching Pidgey, Blipbug, and Scatterbug, and while yet another sees Pikipek, Weedle, and Caterpie (and so on). Trainers and Gym Leaders are similarly randomized: any one of 18 different Leaders might call Pewter City their home! Traditional randomizers are fun in their own right, but they often destroy the difficulty curve when you can pick up, for example, a Snorlax on Route 1. Here, you’ll still go from catching birds and bugs early to encountering sea monsters late, preserving the game’s natural arc. But rather than a set roster of Pokémon species available to you, the ‘mons you come across will be a unique combination of creatures that fit each route. Each Reload aims to present you with a different experience while still retaining the feel and the spirit of the familiar game we all know and love. Kanto Reloaded uses remixed/remastered music tracks. If you would prefer the original GBA & DS music, download this file and follow the instructions in the readme. ***** Features Randomized wild Pokémon encounters in each playthrough! Essentially, each wild Pokémon “slot” features one Pokémon randomly selected from a set list, which is rolled upon starting a new game and then stays constant, resulting in quite literally millions of possible combinations while retaining the overall curve of the game. You’ll always find a bird and a critter on Route 1, but which ones they’ll be is anyone’s guess. Every non-legendary Pokémon through Gen IX is potentially available, but only ~250 will be catchable in any one game. (Semi-)Random trainers with (semi-)random teams! Trainers are no longer completely static, but will appear and disappear from routes based on a hidden variable that will change as you play the game. There is no VS Seeker or phone, so each can still only be challenged once, even if they appear to “reset,” but the world will feel a bit more alive as they rotate in and out. In addition, each individual trainer will randomly choose their team from a hand-crafted set of Pokémon, no longer limited by region or generation. Mystery Gyms and a new Elite Four! A grand total of 18 Gym Leaders are programmed into the game, one for each Pokémon type. Seven of these will be randomly selected to populate the first seven Gyms (Giovanni, for story purposes, will always be the 8th Leader - though he’s been given a type-neutral team to compensate). To complement this, you’ll also face some combination of 8 different, custom Elite Four members, each of which follows a theme instead of a single type, so you’d better come prepared with a versatile team of your own! Each Leader will scale based on when they appear - Brock won’t just be using Geodude and Onix if he’s running Cinnabar Island - and all Gym Leaders, as well as your Rival, are subject to the same pseudo-random team selection as regular trainers. A revamped Kanto with new areas to explore! All maps have been recreated from scratch; some have only minor variations from their official counterparts, but others have undergone major redesigns. In addition, expect to see a couple of completely new areas of Kanto along the way, including the snowy top of Mt. Moon and the swampy Fuschia Moor. The story has also been expanded upon: you’ll take part in a series of events loosely following the canon of the Kanto region. Mewtwo has escaped from Team Rocket, and has a terrible plan to retaliate against his tormentors. A race between Oak, Giovanni, and Mewtwo to capture the three legendary birds ensues, and provides the backdrop for your journey through the region. Following Pokémon, Gameplay Modes, and other QoL Adjustments! Your Pokémon will follow you around outside of its Pokéball, just like in HeartGold/SoulSilver. You'll also have the option to play in different modes, like Double Battles, Level Cap, and Limited (where you can only use as many Pokémon as your opponent). HMs are replaced with new "Pokémon Techs" (and an unlockable Fast Travel system to replace Fly), TMs can be duplicated at PokéMarts, and breeding has been replaced with a much more accessible "cloning" system. This is all on top of multiple save files, a speed-up switch, Unreal Time, and a whole host of other balance changes! ***** Additional Notes & Screenshots ***** What's included in the Beta? The game is fully playable up through Gym 4, including a brand-new story segment in the relocated and updated Power Plant. There are currently only 8 Gym Leaders programmed in (Brock, Misty, Falkner, Erika, Bugsy, Lt. Surge, Whitney, and Morty), but the randomizer will work on those eight. More may be added as the Beta progresses. Other than minor details, such as item locations or Pokémon spawns, which are subject to change at any time, the game should essentially be in a finished state for every area you have access to. I plan on updating the game in play order, finishing each map and story beat in sequence, allowing saves to be continued seamlessly throughout the Beta. Please note that updates are infrequent since I am currently the only one working on this project; I have a strong desire to see it through to completion, but it's a hobby I do in my free time, and it won’t happen overnight. To update the game: Simply extract (or copy/paste) the new download into the same directory as the original. Replace all files if asked. Your saved games are stored elsewhere, so they will not be overwritten. Download Link (MediaFire) | Discord Server *****

Order is born from Chaos, but this is merely the start of its gestation. Engine: Pokémon Essentials v21.1 Premise: The original Xenoverse holds a very special place in my heart, as the first fangame project I have been actively following for years finally coming to fruition. Over the years since its release, me and a lot of other passionate fans have had time to assess this charming, flawed, uneven game, and we felt like it deserved a second shot, to become the best version of itself it could possibly be. With the formation of Beehive Studios and the former developers moving onto an original IP, our as-of-now-unnamed Team has taken the opportunity, with the permission of said original developers, to retool this game while preserving as much of its original identity as possible. This is going to be a remake of Xenoverse, using Essentials v21.1, and this demo covers the first couple Gyms of the game, plus a little bit beyond that (everything before the Galvantula Boss + new stuff we added) Plot Summary: Months have gone by after the player character's father, esteemed researcher and family man Versil, was kidnapped by a mysterious figure from his past. Now his child, Kay or Alice, has set off on a journey across the Eldiw Region to grow strong and find out who has taken their father and why. In their travels, they fight off invasive X Pokemon from another dimension, the Xenoverse, as they wreak havoc, overtake territory, and endanger the lives of the people all throught the region. These encounters, however, are often less than spontaneous, as their appearances are tied to the criminal organization called "Team Dimension", the ones responsible for their father's kidnapping, whose ranks are filled by robots instead of people. Among the many mysteries of the Eldiw Region, the Starter that has chosen Kay/Alice seems to have a connection with the very forces that make up the fabric of reality, which becomes the point of interest for a young and brash cyborg, with a Pokemon who seems to share this connection alongside the Starters. For those who are familiar with Xenoverse's plot, this doesn't sound too unfamiliar, but the details and the context have been completely overhauled, while keeping the broad strokes of the story and the various set pieces mostly intact. I like to think that all the changes made were for the better, but I require feedback to be certain. What's new? The original Pokemon Xenoverse took place in an original region, featured Fakemon and Mega Evolutions and had a heavy focus on the story. None of this is going to change, but a lot of things around this framework have, and let's start off with a bang with: Rewrites While putting a lot of focus on the story, especially in the later half, this game seems to have never gotten the privilege of a second draft, and all sorts of creative turmoils behind the scenes have led to the overall story feeling very... unfocused and non cohesive. This is where this whole project started, my rewrites of the story that tried to tie together concepts introduced later into the very start, ensuring a more solid foundation from which the game itself could be built upon in terms of narrative. While the characters will be largely the same, outside of a few exceptions, I hope you find them more fleshed out and compelling than their original counterparts, especially since, as I said, the story is still going to be one of the main focal points of this game. Re-Balanced Many Pokemon from the original game have been rebalanced, that comes with the fangame territory a lot of the time, and some need it more than most (Looks at... all of Gen 2), but usually you don't really need that many powerful Pokemon if the trainers are as easy as they normally are... But not anymore! Because now the Trainers are (hopefully) gonna pose a real challenge, mostly in the important battles. Said battles are also mostly going to be double battles, as to spice up the gameplay experience, showcase potential strategies that help make bosses stand out from one another and allow more playstyle variety. Bossfights Speaking of battles, however, one of Xenoverse's biggest claims to fame was the X Pokemon Boss Battles, which sees you fighting a Pokemon with boosted stats and multiple health bars, and while that has remained, the boss battle mechanics have been remade to add more variety. You use 2 of your Pokemon to fight 1 Boss, like a reverse Totem Battle, but aside from the Pokemon you fight being stronger, they also possess multiple phases, where upon triggering the phase change all status and stat drops vanish, and something else happens to shake up the battle and make one boss more distinct from another. When I mean that important trainers and bosses are more powerful, however, I don't just mean their movesets and items (although they are), but they will also, after a certain stage, have fully realised IVs and EVs! Don't panic, because there's two other factors you need to consider: 1) We have a plug in that allows you to customize your own EVs from the very start! The EV Pool scales up with your level, so if you want to, you can try tailoring your mons to your needs. 2) ...A lot of these tougher buffs are reserved for the new Hard mode, and while Normal Mode is also gonna be harder, stuff like EVs and IVs and incredible items and moves is something that will be introduced more gradually later on. In short, your Pokemon are stronger, your enemies are stronger, and you are gonna have all the tools you need to face them and then some! Even more Fakemons We couldn't resist this one, this is what Pokemon is all about, creating creatures you can play with, and we wanted to stretch our creativity too! We mostly added more regional variants, so as to not leave Eldiwian Meowth completely alone, some Convergent Pokemon because those are just fun to design and come up with, and a few special scrapped Gen 2 Pokemon that have been given new life and new places in the world. There are plans for more regional forms and some brand new X Species Pokemon too, but those are best for locales that are beyond this demo's reach... for now. Gotta Catch them All Xenoverse's original Pokedex was by no means small, but since this franchise is all about monster collecting, I have decided to expand it even more, but to incentivse the player to actually CATCH the Pokemon, another fangame has shown me how to cater to that design philosophy. Pokemon Tectonic is a game entirely revolving around catching Pokemon to reap rewards in the form of EXP Candy and other items, so you can get any wild Pokemon into fighting shape (up to a level cap). The feedback loop of catching pokemon to get rewards so you can beat bosses to then unlock the ability to catch more Pokemon to reap more rewards is one that I find to be pretty engaging and satisfying, as such it has been applied to this game, with the addition of it being integrated with the Achievement system of the original Xenoverse too! Dens Dens were a really neat idea, exploring mini dungeons with your Starter to obtain some loot and engage in puzzles really helps both fleshing out both your connection to the Starter the world the Pokemon live in, since it is a den and all. This game also had some great puzzles... in the postgame. Yeah, it took them time to get good and most of the dens just... aren't. Most of the original dens puzzles rely on trial and error, and all for loot that is not worth it at all. Well, not anymore! Now there's more loot then ever, the loot is (hopefully) more worthwhile, and the puzzles have been diversified! This demo has 3 real dens to show that off, but there's gonna be way more in the future. Screenshots Demo Download: Windows version: Xeno EX v1.0.2.zip Mac version (Let us know if you encounter problems, we tested it a bunch and all seems correct but it's new so we wanna hear eventual problems. If yes, using Whisky to run the windows version will work just fine.) Xeno EX v 1.0.2 Mac.zip There is also a link to our Discord Server, from which you can give us all feedback on your experience. Invite Link: https://discord.gg/vNepvR4j This is the first step of a journey, where we try to make this game into the best version of itself it could possibly be, and we hope that you will provide all the feedback needed to get to that point. Thank you for your time, and hope you enjoy this Demo. Per Aspera Ad Astra. CREDITS:

Logo is a WIP Welcome to Ayrei The Ayrei Region, a landmass split into four different quadrants. Each with their own people and Pokemon every moment of your adventure has something new in store. This is not the full planned region, only what's currently available in 4.0 No Gyms, No Elite Four In Project Vanguard, the role of the Pokemon Trainer is no longer to collect gym badges and become the champion. Instead, Trainers protect the region from criminal organizations, aggressive wild Pokemon, and whatever other conflicts come their way. This is a solo project I've been working on as a hobby since 2018. I decided to take on the challenge of creating a Pokémon fan game. It's my first project of its kind and probably my last. I'm not very good at anything in particular and terrible with sprites, but I tried anyway. After all this time, I decided to make it public. I currently consider the game "Released," despite being technically complete. However, I expect bugs that may arise that may require drastic changes, so I don't consider it "Completed" yet. English is not my first language, so I apologize for any mistakes. Pokémon Arcana Force Welcome to the Tarotia region, a province of the Kardia Empire. You're a young Trainer who recently graduated from the Jokerstown Pokémon School, and you and your friends are about to receive your first Pokémon with your Trainer License! The region has an ancient tradition: it's not just you who chooses your Pokémon, but the Pokémon must choose you too! The universe will intertwine your and your Pokémon's fate in your dreams! Any Pokémon can appear! In Tarotia, all young Trainers must embark on a journey to collect Gym Badges. The better they perform, the better their chances of securing their future, a testament to their maturity and experience. So, don't waste time and unravel all the mysteries of Tarotia as you set out to collect all the badges from the region's 18 Gyms! If you want to be the best of all, the Pokémon League will be open to the most fearless! Welcome to the Tarotia Region! The Region Map! You're not alone on this journey. Your best friends and rivals are on the same journey, and you'll cross paths many times. Keita is a cheerful and playful boy. He loves to tease Alexia. He cares deeply about his friends and even considers them part of his family. He lives with his grandmother, Izumi, since he lost his parents a year ago in a terrible accident. The trauma affects him, but he tries not to let it show. Alexia is more than a classic tsundere; she's fiercely determined and strives to prove herself to her family. Alexia lives with her aunt Zoey, yet she feels abandoned because her parents seem more interested in their work in Deckar, dragging her older sister, Helena, along. Gilbert is the oldest of the group, studious and cultured. Despite being the middle child in his family, he has the responsibility of being a role model for his younger siblings, as his older brother, Robert, is working in Deckar, the region neighboring Tarotia. Gilbert wants to follow in the footsteps of his brother who became a doctor precisely because of him, who has an eye disease. However, constant hesitation and guilt haunt him. The Team Arcana A group has recently emerged from the shadows of Tarotia. Reports describe them as almost ghost-like. Their goals are as obscure as their appearances. Rumor has it they are searching for an ancient relic with mysterious power, a power that could change the world. The Guardian Jones, or as he calls himself, Guardian Jones, is a figure shrouded in mystery. He claims to be a member of an ancient order that seeks to protect the world. Among several dark secrets closely guarded by his vow of silence, Jones has several unique connections and seems to have drawn the ire of the wrong people. The Arcana Forms Rumors abound of strange Pokémon roaming the Tarotia routes. Experts say they aren't actually regional forms, but something else entirely, while spiritualists and mystics suggest they're supernatural. Regional Forms and Original Pokémon Tarotia boasts some regional species as well as some Pokémon you won't find elsewhere. Know Issues Randomizer mode takes a while to load and makes the game appear to have frozen. Unfortunately, you just have to be patient if you want to play this mode. Due to a bug I couldn't fix in Elite Battle DX, the item HUD can sometimes malfunction in battle when there are few units of a specific item. This rarely causes game crashes. Be sure to save. You may experience some stuttering during gameplay, this is due to the rough transition from the old Essentials v17.2 to v19 and partly due to my own inexperience and lack of knowledge. Sometimes the battle AI just bugs out and doesn't know what to do and skips a turn. It's rare to happen though. The game is playable on Joiplay with the RPG Maker plugin, but with some caveats. I can't guarantee it will work on all versions. Sometimes, when encountering Arcana Forms, the specific bgm doesn't play. v0.1.8 Released 11/3/25! Welcome to the celestial land of Tenno! Known for its futuristic technology and advanced space program, the Tenno Region thrives thanks to the ambitions and benevolence of Team Planetary, an organization dedicated to the region's betterment. You start your Pokémon journey in the Tenno Region like many other trainers, but soon you and your childhood friend/rival witness a more sinister side of Team Planetary. They steal property and take Pokémon, all supposedly in the name of saving the region. Can the ends justify the means? As the only witnesses to these heinous acts in a region that idolizes the villains, it’s up to you to stop them while striving to become the Tenno Champion. Blast off on an out-of-this-world journey of astronomical proportions! Pokémon Sol Version is a fan project that aims to create a traditional Pokémon experience using Pokémon Essentials on RPG Maker XP. It is a part of the Cosmic Quest Project, and is technically the "third version" to the hypothetical Luna and Terra Versions. Currently released is a work-in-progress beta test/demo. What's a beta/demo? I explain in detail here. The main campaign is essentially complete and you can play the entire story up until the credits roll, but there is currently no post-game content. That will come in future updates, as discussed here. But, feel free to keep on exploring the region and completing missed optional content until then. Trailers Other Trailers Available Here Features 136 brand-new custom Pokémon (in addition to over 250 returning Pokémon from all generations) New Mega Evolutions New Regional Variants: Tennoan Forms Over 100 new moves and over 50 new abilities for new and old Pokémon alike An entire new region to explore, filled with a variety of unique locations A traditional Pokémon story, including a Pokémon League and evil team An expansive post-game story (Future Update) Light-Type Pokémon New mechanics, such as double abilities, combo-typed moves, and more Challenging boss battles against non-Pokémon entities and powerful Legendary Pokémon The Battle Final Frontier. It's the Battle Frontier, but in space (Future Update) The return of the Pokémon World Tournament, with more characters than ever before (Future Update) And so much more! Check out this link to read a series of articles that goes into behind-the-scenes explanations and examinations of many of the new aspects, features, and mechanics. Screenshots More Screenshots Important Notes This game is in beta and is an unfinished product. While playing, expect to encounter glitches and game crashes. If you do, please report them, as explained in the "Reporting Issues" section below. Due to the chances of encountering a game crash, I recommend saving your game frequently, especially before and after difficult or important battles or after long story events. The game is essentially complete up until the credits roll. That means you can play the entire main story, but there are no post-game elements added yet. Future updates to come. This game is designed to be a traditional and authentic Pokémon experience. It will not contain features common to fan games, such as a speed-up button. This game is designed to play more like the earlier Pokémon games (Gens I through V), rather than the more modern ones. As such, it may require more effort and thought to beat than you might be used to from modern Pokémon games. The game features the classic version of Exp. Share, rather than the modern version which distributes experience among all Pokémon in the party automatically. An Exp. All item, which functions like the modern Exp. Share, does exist in the game, but it is a reward for a side quest that spans the entire region and cannot be obtained until the very end of the game. It is better to think of it as a post-game item. One aspect of real Pokémon games that could not be replicated by this game is interactions with other players. This means it would usually be impossible to evolve Pokémon that require being traded. However, if you want to evolve such a Pokémon, just show a Pokémon that evolves through trade to the woman on the second floor of any Pokémon Center and she'll give you a special item that can evolve these Pokémon instead. Certain aspects of this game may be incompatible with JoiPlay. I have received reports of graphic display issues, random lag, and missing sound effects, all coming from JoiPlay, rather than any specific issue with the game. JoiPlay prevents players from skipping the opening movie. Players using JoiPlay should either delete or rename the folder titled "Movies" within their "Pokémon Sol Version" folder. This will cause the game to automatically skip the movie. This will have to be done every time the game is updated. Download v0.1.8 Here (Updated 11/3/25) No Hotfix Currently Required If you need help getting things working after downloading from this link, see here for instructions. Once you've downloaded the most recent version, apply the the most recent hotfix (if applicable) as explained below. Update Instructions: If you've already downloaded an older version of Sol Version and are looking to update, simply delete your outdated "Pokémon Sol Version" folder and download the current version from the above link. Your save data will transfer over automatically. Hotfix Instructions: If and only if there's a hotfix download link listed below the regular download link, then you'll need to apply the hotfix to Sol Version to play the most up-to-date version. Click the link to download a file called "Game.rgssad" and move that file into your "Pokémon Sol Version" folder. When it asks you if you want to replace the existing file, say yes. Now your game is up to date. You should always try to have to most recent hotfix applied to your game. If you've just installed Sol Version for the first time and a hotfix is available, you should apply the hotfix right away. Reporting Issues As this is a work-in-progress beta build of the game, expect to find glitches and other issues. Please report any issues you come across while playing. You can report them here, or send me an email at CosmicQuestProject@gmail.com. As much information as you can provide on the context of the issue, as well as screenshots if possible, is very helpful. If there's an error message, a picture or copy of the exact message would be of great assistance. The game's error log, with a list of all error messages you've received can be located in your file explorer under Users>[Your Name]>AppData>Roaming>Pokémon Sol Version. AppData is only visible if you first click the "View" tab, and then check the box labeled "Hidden Items." From there, you can copy and paste the exact error message, with the newest errors on the bottom. It is my hope that working together we can remove all of the issues that remain undiscovered in this game and we can move it ever closer to a final release. Known Issues The move Fiery Terrain is called Icy Terrain and is an Ice-Type move instead of Fire. (The move's description is still correct.) Sometimes when an ability's name displays in battle, it will instead display the name of the Pokémon's other ability. This is a purely visual bug. The proper ability is still activating. Sometimes the game will crash when transitioning from the opening movie to the title screen. If this happens, you can simply relaunch the game and skip the movie to circumvent the crash. A handful of Tenno Pokémon are still a work in progress and do not yet have certain graphics. For a complete list of Pokémon missing some or all of their graphics, see here. Any Mega Evolved Pokémon not listed here is not yet available in the game, even if a Mega Stone is obtainable. The Mega Stone is a placeholder and will not work. Have A Question About Where to Find Something or How to Do Something in the Game? Look Here First Mystery Gift Sol Version has a rotation of Mystery Gift distributions. Plot Summary: When the Drakensberg government swept to power, the lives of many were changed overnight. Walled by the deep sea, the residents of South Fuso are forced to toil in the island's harrowing mines. One of these workers is you, the silent Trainer who is destined for greater things. Welcome to the Pokémon Litharreon thread! V1.0 Download! Game informationRadicalRaptrAuthorRecruiting!TeamMy ThreadMore InfoProgressing!Status1.0 Release Hello! You can call me Radicalraptr, and this is my game-in-development! The history I have with this game idea is incredible to me. I started this humble project over 10 years ago! Over Ten whole years!!! The earliest stages of this game existed as minor edits of a Fire Red rom using ancient software I don't think even exists anymore. Initially as a romhack the idea of the game was playing through a more difficult version of the game where instead of going through a region you battle floors of an endless battle tower. I began tinkering and expanding the idea to eventually encapsulating a whole region, but kept the idea of having multiple leaders in a single gym. The project in essentials started as Pokémon X and I began working on wacky ideas and edgy design concepts, with the plot twist of the story being you, the player in the game, are actually dead! For some reason I thought this was such a fantastic idea. The story was heavy servings of nostalgia bait I loved mixed with deep influences from my favorite games, including fan games I loved at the time! As I grew into my own style and actually developed a decent knack for pixel art from humble beginnings of slices and chopped up sprites, I also honed my skills as a mapper and eventually full on game dev in RMXP. Over the years I've improved on my eventing skills and only gotten more refined in my map designs. I've worked on several smaller projects, participated and won spotlights in 2 major game jam events, and bitten off much more than I can chew in other fan games ideas before I finally wrote off this game as half baked an unsalvageable. However as time went on, I stepped away from fan games, life took its toll and I grew up in my own right I still had this nag in the back of my mind that there was still something here. As my grand return to game development after taking a hiatus for several years I decided to write a love letter to my old self and breath a fresh air and flex my muscles on this simple idea. I've refined the store, polished the focus and finally have a clear beginning and end of the game as a whole. I am finally proud to announce the return, release and playable demo of Pokémon Litharreon! Plot summary Litharreon - pronounced Lithe/Arr/Eon It is the fusion of Growlithe, Spearrow, Eeevee(well the eon for eeveelutions) and one of your possible starter Pokémon! Pick your partner, either Shroomish, Houndour, or Staryu and team up with either Growlithe, Eeevee, or Spearow for ultimate double battles throughout the game! Challenge 8 totally normal and not suspicious gym leaders and take down an evil crime syndicate! On your journey you'll begin to question certain things and uncover mysteries regarding yourself and the Pokémon you are safeguarding! Where did this Pokémon come from? Why are there evil crime bosses fighting you for it? Exactly who can you trust and why do you feel like you don't really belong here? You'll be overcoming all of these challenges while battling against your friendly Rival! Your rival wants to unlock their partner's powers and understand the mysteries there are to explore in the fantastic region of Arboden! Catch and train Pokémon in a double battle oriented, aide various NPC's throughout the region, and discover the mystery that awaits in Litharreon, and what that is also! Characters Biscuit and Coffee The protagonists of Litharreon, and also your rival throughout the game! She has since been adapting this research into a new device, but she has been pretty secretive as to what it will be used for! Professor Cedar He is an old friend of yours who has been focusing his research on Pokémon and their mysterious power, hoping to unlock the unique dormant power that lies inside each one waiting to be tapped into. After making a break through in his research he is greeted by hooligans hoping to make off with his research before you swoop in and save the day! Created in Pokémon Essentials v18.1 (+MKXP) Plot It is by chance one day that you fall into the Honnis Underground, left to fend for yourself with only a single Pokéball. It is through a rather unusual series of events that you find yourself wrapped up in a conspiracy involving the beloved "Baker's Dozen"! Will you save the region from chaos? Will you uncover the secrets of the Honnis Region? Will you beat 8 gyms and the Pokémon League in the process? ...Probably. The Honnis Region The Honnis region is a sprawling and diverse land filled with countless different Pokémon and cities filled with all kinds of interesting people and places. Though it contains countless secrets of its own, its most interesting feature is undoubtedly the Honnis Underground, a vast network of cave systems containing hundreds of Pokémon that cannot be found anywhere else in the region. Pokémon within it are more active than their surface counterparts, and there are some individuals that have demonstrated unusual amounts of strength and aggression. It is said that the Pokémon within have the mysterious property of 'scaling' to the strength of your party! Features Treat Traits Special abilities granted upon consuming specific items, Traits come in a wide variety of effects that can be granted to any Pokémon! Grants varying stat boosts depending on a species' strength, allowing even weaker Pokémon to keep up with their evolved counterparts While a Pokémon possesses a Trait, it loses the ability to evolve via level-up, requiring it to be evolved through the party menu. Through the use of the EZ-Oven and some recipes, you can even craft your own Pokétreats at any time! New Forms and Evolutions The Honnis region contains an utterly massive amount of Pokémon, and depending on what part of the region you are in, some species will even take on entirely new forms. It appears that some Pokémon even possess entirely new evolutions. Yet what are the mysteries surrounding this mysterious 'Flux Stone'? New Moves and Abilities, and Rebalances Freeze has been changed to Frostbite, as seen in Legends Arceus Certain 'weaker' moves and abilities have had their effects strengthened in some form Many Pokémon have had their learnsets expanded, and certain species that lacked secondary or hidden abilities have now gained them There are also a variety of brand new moves, items, and abilities! Various QOL Touches NPCs that allow you to fast travel between previously visited towns and areas All trainer battles can be forfeited, rather than requiring a loss TMs can now be taught directly from the summary screen (and even in PC boxes) instead of requiring you to manually sift through your bag. Sun Dust and Moon Dust, held items that let you make time-based evolutions at any time Marks can also be acquired through defeating wild Pokémon instead of being limited to newly captured Pokémon HMs can now be used just by having them in your inventory IVs and EVs are visible on the summary screen Pokémon with hidden abilities have a 10% chance of appearing in the wild Egg Moves can now be taught at any Pokémon Center (costs Heart Scales) 'Shards', items that allow you to boost a Pokémon's IVs Happiness-based evolutions have a much more lenient threshold The PC-Link, a rechargeable machine that lets you heal and use the PC from anywhere. And Many More...! Including... 2v1 Boss Battles against particularly powerful Pokémon Two additional shiny variations for every Pokémon Secret Bases Over 250 obtainable TMs Multiple battle facilities Raid Dens A wide variety of sidequests with exclusive rewards and encounters Wild encounters have a 20% chance of starting as double battles when possible, you can capture Pokémon even with two opponents on the field Soft level caps that slow experience gain past a certain threshold, boosted with each badge Online Trading & Battling Team Mak Lead Dev, general stuff-doer Vendily Scripting AOZero2 Composing Playtesters TanookiPrick, Donut, Glacierfury, saltymuch.jpg, Doop, senok, DoopyAngel, Ashwell, Count Sushik, HauntedDitto, KennyCatches, Ayrei, Mashirosakura, Lunarus Note: The game has not been developed with Joiplay in mind, and is not currently compatible with the app. DOWNLOAD LINK v0.4.15 (Updated 09/11/25) https://www.mediafire.com/file/40p6bjx4ojj3pt7/Zirconium_v0.4.15.rar/file Mirror: https://drive.google.com/file/d/18Nyywp-NODAZObvXSN7LJXMBFhuYloNL/view?usp=sharing Contains 3 gyms; 8-10 hours of main story content discounting side content Patch (v0.4.15) Install by unzipping the file and combining the 'Data' folder within with the root game folder. https://www.mediafire.com/file/anpypscdpqsc7am/Patch_v1.0.15.rar/file Changelog v0.4.15 Added two additional ingredient options to every café Nerfed the encounter rates in various areas across the game Fixed sidequest event triggering if you lost to Tyson in Ambell City Fixed issue where TMs did not work on the regional eeveelutions Fixed softlock that would occur when accepting the “A Special Specimen” quest from a certain direction v0.4.14 Fixed crash that would occur when picking up a Poison Barb during an expedition Added frequent checks to badge variable to prevent sidequest-related crashes v0.4.13.1 Fixed issue with shuffled Pokémon form data v0.4.13 Fixed pseudo-softlock on Route 7 Fixed issue where Route 8 could not be accessed prior to completing the Gym 3 plot. I've done everything I could think of to keep it interesting and avoid repetition, but it may happen once in a while, especially early on. Also, some early-game Trainers get stronger if you leave them be. You can only fight each Trainer once, so make it count! Finally, there is no barrier between areas. Pokémon Realities Kit Used: Essentials V20.1 (Planning to Update to 21.1) Game Summary Pokémon Realities is a fan made Pokémon game that heavily dives into the idea of the multiverse. Throughout the game, the player will travel through 6 different lands that make up the Kessho Region, each with their own unique traditions and cultures collecting 18 gym badges and preparing to challenge the Pokémon league. Early on in the player's journey, they end up running into a mysterious group known as team horizon who are looking to reassemble something called the reality crystal. This crystal was said to have the power to create any wish imaginable back in the ancient times. Now throughout their journey, the player attempts to stop team Horizon from achieving their goals while meeting many friends, allies, enemies, and Pokémon along the way. Features you'll see in V1 Gen 3 RSE Style Game Very Large Pokedéx with 1000+ Pokémon available to capture Field Effects (Like from Reborn, Reju, Deso, Etc) Level Caps QoL upgrades (PokéMart & PokéCenter combined into one New Regional Variants New Custom UI's Side Quests Content up to the 5th gym avaliable (gym 5 out of 18) Spoiler Free Story Outline The Kessho Region is home to a crystal known as the reality crystal. This crystal was said to be a gift from the gods for humanity to use to grow and prosper. One day a wish was made to bring prosperity and expansion to the region, and the wish was granted. However, due to the great magnitude of the wish, a great calamity struck the region, expanding it into 6 different islands with each having origins from their own realties. After such a massive wish was made, the crystal exploded and shattered itself into tiny shards, scattering itself until it could fully restore its power. In the present day, all 6 lands have come together, stemming from the primitive age, medieval age, modern age, and even ages of flying cars and magic! However, as of recent years, an organization has been on the move for the crystal shards, what are their goals? Perhaps it to create a new world using the crystal's power, or the destruction of life itself... Hi there! After playing Radical Red about 500 times, I decided that I really wanted a similar game challenge wise but I had played too much Kanto. The only logical next step was to make my own game. So.... Welcome to Eire! A fully custom region based on Ireland. The game was made in RPG Maker with Pokemon Essentials v21. This was a solo project made over the course of 6 months, so shoutout to Thundaga for the amazing Essentials tutorials and ChatGPT for Ruby coding syntax. 🌍 A Brand-New Region Explore Eire, a completely original region inspired by Ireland - towns, routes, myths, and landscapes. A custom story with new teams, characters, and challenges. 📖 Story I wanted Pokémon Eire to follow the classic Pokémon journey structure - collect 8 Badges, challenge the Elite Four, and rise to become Champion. I've always enjoyed the structure and wanted to stick to it. Along the way, you'll run into Team Droch, an evil group hell bent on exploiting the legendary Divine Six (Ho-Oh, Lugia, Arceus, Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza) for their own power. Balancing against them is the Church of Solas, an influential religious order that plays a major role in the region's culture and story. But as your journey unfolds, you'll discover that things aren't always as simple as good vs. evil… 🎮 Features Pokémon up to Gen 9 Every Pokémon is included, with full availability by the post-game. *TBD on some post game additions. Randomizer Options Randomize Pokémon, abilities, and items, similar to Radical Red. Tools & Documentation Full Damage Calculator and Pokédex available outside the game for planning teams and strategies, similar to Run and Bun. Calculator read me included in game files. All custom Pokémon buffs/nerfs fully documented, so you always know what's changed. Challenge Options Optional level cap system with a Poke Center Helper NPC to match your team to the cap. Minimal Grinding Mode with toggleable options: IVs/EVs both off or just EVs off Built-in Nuzlocke Mode. Quality of Life Improvements Speed-up mode for faster grinding/exploring. EVs/IVs viewable directly on the party screen. Toggleable Repel. Infinite Rare Candies. Special rare candies that allow you to go over the level cap (limited). Improved UI. Quest system for side content and to help guide you. Heart Scale trading for egg moves. Portable PC in menu. Poke vial for healing without a Poke Center. Reusable consumable held items. Multiple save files. If a Pokemon can learn a HM, it can use it out of battle. no need to teach the move! Play Your Way Designed for challenge runs and Nuzlockes, but also works for standard playthroughs. Mechanics Mix Both Mega Evolution and Terastallization included. (I'm not a huge fan of Dynamax and Zmoves). Core mechanics updated to Gen 9 standards. Custom Content New moves and abilities (with more planned). Custom buffs/nerfs to make weaker Pokémon viable - all fully documented. Gen 3-inspired visuals and design for that nostalgic feel. Multiple double and triple battles throughout the game. Trainer gauntlets that restrict healing and PC usage. All enemy trainers have custom teams that are built for a challenge (movesets, abilities, natures, items). Gigantamax forms turned to megas to provide more mega variations. Overworld encounters as well as random (turned off in options by default) Option to evolve and heal through the team menu, similar to modern games. Make sure to call your Ma before and after gyms! New Game+ mode is unlockable once you have defeated the Elite Four rematch. Carry over items and Pokemon. ✅ Current Progress Complete game - full story, Champion, and post-game content. 🔑 Post-Game Content The main story continues after your first Elite Four victory with new towns, Pokemon, and events. Finish the story of the Divine 6! Multiple legendary events: Loads of new Pokémon to catch across Éire with events to catch or be rewarded with Legendary Pokemon. Hoenn "Gym-in-Training" Facility: Battle all eight Hoenn Gym Leaders in an escalating challenge. Can Wally open his own gym? Battle Tower: Classic endurance battles with scaling difficulty and special bosses. Beat all 50 waves of the Battle Tower! Rogue Tower: A randomized, rogue-like challenge with fresh layouts and rewards every run. Dungeons are randomly generated with trainers, bosses, wild Pokemon, legendary Pokemon, and more! Battle Rank System Inspired by Legends: ZA: climb through ranks to earn perks and prestige as you win in the Battle and Rogue Tower. Earn items, shiny Pokemon, and a special reward for reaching the highest rank! Achievements: major post-game milestones and completion goals to chase. Elite Four Rematches: tougher teams, new strategies, new rewards. New Game+ Mode: restart the adventure with your Pokémon, items, and progress-based bonuses. Unlock this by defeating the Elite Four rematch. 🎅Wishlist / Future Plans Expanding side quests across early/mid-game. More custom sprites for gyms/leaders/overworld (I'm very much not an artist - help welcome!). Currently all gym leaders are built off of existing characters but now that the game is mostly complete, I'd like to build custom gym leaders. More legendary events.
