From a dedicated team of Pokémon fans and creators comes a brand new fangame project: Pokémon Legacy of the Lowlands!
We’re building an ambitious game inspired by the Netherlands, filled with original Fakemon, a cast of memorable characters, and a rich, story-driven plot. Our project already has a growing community on Instagram (Lowland_Region) and now we’re ready to expand the development team!
Looking to recruit:
Project description:
Pokémon Legacy of the Lowlands is set in the Lowland Region, a place inspired by the Netherlands.
Players will embark on a journey across canals, windmill towns, bustling cities, and rural countrysides, uncovering a story that asks an important question:
What does true innovation mean?
Plot outline:
The story revolves around innovation and technology. While new inventions promise progress, they can sometimes hinder what true growth really means.
The villainous Team Umbra has discovered a way to access the Paradox Rift after the phenomenon of paradox pokemon appeared in Paldea. Stealing future technology to create artificial Pokémon known as APmons. Their mission is to dominate the Lowland Region with these lifeless creations.
As the protagonist, you’ll not only face Team Umbra but also uncover the truth about innovation, adaptation, and what it means for people and Pokémon to grow together.
Unique features:
We’ve already designed and revealed dozens of Fakemon on our Instagram, with a growing community following the project. Sprite work, mapping, and scripting are the next big steps where we need YOUR help!
Contact:
We are currently working with a small group of motivated pokemon fans (all from The Netherlands). However, when it comes to game development, we are looking for someone with more experience. Speaking dutch is not needed, we can switch to English any time!
