First off, I wanted to thank you immensely for this resource. I was working my way through making animations for every move myself, but they were nowhere near this quality, and I was nowhere near done. So, this saved me a lot of time and work, while also making my project look better.

Hi! I'm having some issues when some oponents use some moves. The moves are Water Pulse, Disable, Mega Drain and Muddy Water (maybe Surf too). The bug usually occurs when opponent is using the move. An error prompt appears, then the animation plays (with old updates, it was even buggier), but, after that, all sprites goes up in screen until. (sorry for my bad english)

I wanted to throw in that I've gotten this error with at least two different moves, one of which being the opponent using Meteor Beam (the actual attack, not the charging). I don't remember what the other was, as I wasn't paying to much attention at the time. The game doesn't crash, it just restarts the opponent using the move from the beginning (which in the case of Meteor Beam means its starts the charging over). When it's ready to use the move again, the animation works just fine.

Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately I had tried both recompiling the game and starting with a new save file, both resulted in the same issue. I was however able to recover my initial animations in-game (the ones I had prior to trying to add the Gen 9 Move Animation project) by deleting my PkmnAnimations.rxdata file and replacing it with the version I had prior to trying to add this plugin. However, this only reverts me back to the animations I had without using the Gen 9 Move Animation Project, meaning while it fixes the scrambled animations, it also means I don't have the new animations.

I deleted the mega, primal, and z move animations that came with this pack and the z move animation from the dbk addon worked fine but the mega and primal animations dont work still. Both the mega and primal animations now make the background darker and have the pokemon flash then change forms instead of doing the animation from the dbk. Not sure if i did something wrong or if theres something else im supposed to delete/change for it to work. But aside from this, I do really like this plugin

Idk what I did but I got it working somehow. The DBK settings were already set to true before i started working on it today so idk what changed.

Here to bump this issue. Seems to affect a lot of moves, most of which were already listed. The only contribution that I have to that list maybe check out Bulk Up as well, as I had some reports from my game about it.

Addressing technical issues

Not a content update this time, but we've been having a number of users reporting issues when trying to install / use these animations for a while now. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to recreate these errors at all on my end, which makes fixing them difficult. However, I still want to offer a few solutions to hopefully fix the issues for some users, at least.

The first thing to try is to recompile your game. This is already in the installation instructions, but in case you missed it...

I get this error when playing an animation in the Battle Animation Editor or when certain moves are used. Moves that have given me this error are: Tectonic Rage Z-Move, and Flare Blitz.

Did you compile your game after adding the animations?
