I am a huge fan of Pokemon creating and decided to make a fun little project where we all try to make 48 mons for the 48 states that haven't fully been covered by other regions (I say fully because Orre only covered Pheonix). If this goes well, we can hopefully expand on this. States currently done are
  • Texas
  • Arkansas
  • Louisiana
  • New Jersey

Okay, sure! How about this: For Texas, we have a Fire-Type horse starter line!
  • Ponite, Fire-Type, evolves at Level 18
  • Fuegolt, Fire-Type, evolves at Level 34
  • Burstang, Fire/Steel-Type
 
Ooh, I like that! Although may I ask why Burstang is Steel-type? Not like I hate it, I'm just curious.
 
Just because I AM from Texas, and I wanna do something unique, a Grass-type Bull starter could be neat.

  • Bullinden, Grass-type, evolves at Level 30
  • Minotimber, Grass/Fighting-type
  • Abilities: Overgrow, Huge Power
  • Signature move: Timber Axe. 130 BP, 90 Accuracy, High critical hit chance.

I might as well make a Texas water starter to fit the trend.

  • Ranchipow, Water-Fairy type
  • Abilities: Torrent, Reckless
  • Signature move: Mana Hammer. 85 BP, 100 Accuracy, Removes the party's status conditions.
 
Basic bird for Texas because why not? As a unique thing, this is gonna be a regional variant + regional evolutions since I like those a lot.

  • Northird, Normal/Flying-type
  • Mockinglide, Normal/Flying-type
  • Abilities: Avian Song (new copy of Punk Rock), Gale Wings
  • Signature move: Musical Chirp. 75 BP, 100 Accuracy, Boosted by Avian Song.

Just a cool type honestly, but I was kinda also thinking about like "horsepower" and cars

Signature move: Clairvoyant Tsunami. 130 BP, 90 Accuracy, Basically a stronger Surf with the added bells and whistles of striking two turns after use a la Future Sight.
 
What did you use for Texas? I had an idea of a calf Pokemon that evolved into Taurus - or into Milktank (if female with happiness).
