i don't know if someone already asked, but is possible to make the stop animation only work in certain pokemon?
Like Fearow moves in place but spearow not

Hello, sorry for intruding, I would like to follow the improvements of the Script. Could you mention the updated methods when you make the next updates? That way I wouldn't need to compare the entire code that is already edited to my liking for this... If possible, thank you.

I'm getting errors trying to use this. Of course the tutorial had zero problems... Anyway, it's complaining about this:
NameError: uninitialized constant Interpreter::FollowingPkmn

And I don't know what to do to fix this. Google and DuckDuckGo return zero results when I tried using them to search this issue.

Do you have the Gen 9 followers in the characters folder, but still in their respective folders (regular/shiny)?
 
Update:

The following Pokemon was working just fine for me. I started a new game, picked a starter and he came right out of the ball. Followed me outside, I was happy. Go to do some other work on the game not related to that and because I'm going to be away from the house today and Saturday, I thought I would get to a spot where I can do a 3rd play test. Loaded it up on my phone and as soon as the Pokemon was supposed to come out of the ball; it freezes and I get that same error. Baffled because like I said, it was working. Same thing on my computer; it crashes when trying to load that script (even says that it's been properly installed when compiling. We might have to wait for the OG maker of the plugin for help on this one.

Did you, by chance, install the Ranch Box plugin? Reason I ask is because I did AFTER installing and testing the Followers plugin (which worked beautifully as mentioned), I noticed this happened after installing the Ranch Box. I'm not saying that it's the Ranch plugin, but wondering if it's a factor since as far as I understand it, not all plugins are compatible with one another. The other reason is because when I went to run the game with the Ranch Box plugin, I got a bunch of error messages (in yellow) saying that Type 1 and Type 2 are depreciated and will be removed for V22. I don't have that log, but can re-install it and get screenshots.

If I have a floating Pokemon running behind me and use Surf, the game starts reloading the map and my character is out of bounds.

I have the same problem as shown here with the little stutter of the Pokemon, but for me it comes up if I try to leave tall grass.
Has anyone a solution for this?

Hey are you familiar with the little bug when walking trough tall grass? When you walk out of tall grass, the animation of the follow pokemon still stays cropped most of the time until you refresh the animation by for example changing direction. Is there a way to fix this?

Okay, I am really looking forward to it!

I saw that the same problem happens right after a fight and I want to go in any direction. For one step the Pokemon stays there and than goes directly behind the player.
If you want, I can do gifs of it and post them here.
