The Story:
It's your 18th birthday, and you finally have the chance to search for your mother, who's been missing for as long as you can remember.
Taking the League Challenge is nothing but an excuse to explore more locations and search far and wide.

But you soon find out there are bigger problems starting to ravage the region. You begin to learn of the origin of the Canòrr region as
it's known today and the history of its current King and Queen.
As the hidden secrets become divulged, the dots to your missing mother connect more and more.

A prophecy older than time, ancient inscriptions, a mysterious royal plot, divination, and magic new and old all collide in a clash that shakes
everything you have ever known.

  • Divulgence : This mode is what I consider to be the canonical one of the game when it comes to story and world.
    Gym Leaders will have full teams of 6, Rivals will have a couple more mons, and so will some other trainers, levels will also be slightly higher than the prior difficulty.​
  • Over The Rainbow : This mode is the "I want to cry" difficulty mode, or at least its supposed to be,
    I'm sure someone out there will find a way to breeze through this, I'll buff things as I please on this one.​

Not much has changed from Kyu's version so I'll just list some differences here:


1. New configurable constant: FAST_PICK_ITEM_ACTIVE
This will control whether the new animation should be used. If that's not the case, pbItemBall will work like good ol' base Essentials. The other constants still exist - they have been renamed to FAST_PICK_BERRY_ACTIVE and FAST_ITEM_GET_SE.

Hey! The goal is indeed (hopefully) before July, since I do depart on vacations. But if not, itll be most likely be towards September instead yes : )

Had a bit of a moment where I didnt feel like continuing, and last year I just decided to start over, fix things and make the game better.
So yeah, fairly healthy for now thank you!

Not full game sorry. I sadly work fairly slow, and over time some of the team members we had left for greener pastures.
Doesn't help that I completely redid the whole content of the first demo.

Next update will go past the second gym.

And I don't know, I wonder who you think the Eye is. O: I don't remember leaving any hints about that character in the demo at least

Hey everyone! This is the last blog post before the release of the game.
So for this final blog post I want to talk about some last minute features that got added, well, only 1 really big one.
The fast travel.
I was unsure if I wanted to add one, and then I was unsure how I wanted to add it, but I think we got a decent way of doing it.

As I mentioned previously, after this release, there will be some more patches, bug fixes, Pokemon re-balancing, custom shiny sprites, maybe some new additions,
from suggestions, to things we put in the back-burner because we didn't find them necessary to add right now.

Game is definitely not going to be perfect, but I do want to try to listen to as much feedback as I can (there's a limit to how much Ill listen though lol).

This does also mean that I will finally start searching for more people to join the team. Spriters (Trainer and Pokemon), Concept Artists and Coders mostly.
But of course there's other roles to fill, it would help a lot. If any of you are interested tell me, though I would prefer you play the game first.

Now without further ado, the title of the update!

Hey there! Currently enjoying playing through the game. I'm planning on writing proper feedback when I reach the end, but I found an easy place to get soft-locked in and wanted to point it out before I forgot (posting an imgur link as I don't know how to send pictures yet)
It's this spot in Greenkeep Town
Essentially, when walking up the stairs, if you're at the spot on the top, you walk through mushrooms, and then get stuck on the side of the house
 
The messages on this thread start on 2019 and the first episode came out recently. This means the episode 1 takes 6 years to be made. Don't tell me the next episode will come out in 6 years? However I don't think it will come out in 6 months either.

Hopefully not, actually the first release was in 2020, a Tech Demo, but I wasnt a fan of everything so I started from scratch.
There was a 2 year period where I didnt touch the game what so ever either + the game got corrupted once at one point.

So most of this update was made in the past ~2ish years or so.

Thanks for the swift fix! Is there any specific place where we should post inconsistencies, or bugs, or is this place enough? Asking as I found a second one. In Steeplin City, in the house/apartment south of the restaurants, the book "Renowned Thieves" seems to direct to a different book in-game about the origin of the name of the region that I remember reading in the first gym.
