A synopsis of the plot: A king is absolutely stressed to the bone having to rule over his kingdom in a time filled with peril, disease, and domestic threats. Having to juggle the threats of Camp David, The BarBerry Pirates, A rogue plague doctor, and an outbreak of the Bactilius plague, he has sent out recruitment flyers to other regions, pleading it's citizens to help in anyway possible. A recently terminated gym leader comes across the flyer on his journey to seek asylum. The ex gym leader is promised asylum in exchange for their unquestioned loyalty to the king. With the ex gym leader in the ranks of the King, the kingdom has one last chance to prosper...
More details about this game: Hi there! I am currently recruiting for Pokémon Ailment, I'm primarily looking for mappers for this game. Pokémon Ailment is a gen 3 style game that strays away from the usual 8 gym badge formula, challenge the elite four, and become champion of the region. Rather, opting for a main focus on the story and characters. This game will of course in some ways remain faithful to the Pokémon franchise while trying different formulas and retaining some.
Features: This game utilizes the field effect system from the Pokémon Reborn, Rejuv, and Desolation. There are currently a few new implemented fields and planned to have some new ones as well. Field effects from these games have also been updated with Gen 9 abilities and moves.
Speaking of which... This game will go up to gen 9 and you will be able to obtain all 1,025!
This game also utilizes many plugins that bring quality of life and minimizes grinding so you can get right into the game! While not all are listed here are some examples of QOL: Infinite repel, EV slider system, and guarantee 31 IV's on every single Pokémon you obtain!
Types of Pokémon: This game will not contain any fakemons. Rather, having regional variants.
Item Blessings: Item blessings are available to Pokémon that are in desperate need of a buff. Also a lot of weak Pokémon have received base stat buffs, allowing playthroughs to be more diverse and giving weaker Pokémon a second chance to throw their hat in the ring!
