Hey,
I have been trying to get better at revamping old sprites with new colors and just wanted to get some tips. Here is an attached example of all Kanto Gym Leaders. I used Gen 2 for all the sprites except for Giovanni (as hes not in there) and then used the colors from FRLG to revamp. I think the biggest thing I struggle with is the actual shading aspect and understanding where to put specific pixels. My goal is to later be able to revamp the old Pokemon sprites and then try to animate those like Black and White.
Sabrina and Giovanni I feel I had the hardest time with.
