Okay, I downloaded a different sprite and recolored. I think it looks better than my last one. I know I'll have to make it smaller for the battle sprite, but this is the size of image that I downloaded. EDIT: Just resized him.

There are lots of things, especially in the later games that bothered me. But what gets me is the sameness of all of the games. With the exception of Black and White, the PC comes from some rinkydink town... heck, Gens 7 - 9, they don't even start out in a town! Most fangames copy this.

I think the problem is that I started out with a sprite that already didn't have the best pixel density. I just can't seem to get a good quality rich boy sprite from black and white. I guess I'll try the bd one, since the suit is similar, and can find a fairly good sprite of them. The rich boy...

I see this is compatible with Essentials 19.1. Will it work for the latest Essentials? 20.1, or will you be updating this plugin for 20.1?

The female is the first gym leader, and the PC's older sister. The boy is one of the rivals to the PC, and is a snobby jerk, especially to the PC's best friend who is dirt poor.

The story actually sounds a bit like the rival, Hugh, in Black and White 2. So perhaps you can sort of make a reverse of Black and White 2 where the rival is the one going for the gym badges, and they show up to help the player character ever once in awhile, showcasing the rival's stronger pokemon?

I agree with AvacadoMan. Though the background is really nice looking, it detracts from what it's supposed to be showcasing, the Pokemon. They're called backgrounds for a reason. They're there to support/give back up to what you're showing. Now, the dark green/blue may look better.

My first time making a Pokemon game. I made the starter town and a special field that players can go immediately from the lab to practice (the town has the first gym, so that's helpful LOL). I'm showing these separate, but I already connected them in debug mode. I welcome constructive criticism.

For the most part, the maps are very nice. Map 2, though, the green trees that you have usually block an area where you have to use cut on them to get to the blocked area. I'm curious though why the trees are brown.
