DialogueSound

v21.1 DialogueSound 1.0

This resource pertains to version 21.1 of Pokémon Essentials.
Pokémon Essentials Version
v21.1 ✅
Hello everyone! I'm back with another somewhat useless Plugin, but it's something I wanted for my project, so I just did it anyway...

This script adds sound effects to text displayed during dialogue, kinda like Undertale.
I included a couple of sounds I made real quick to demonstrate, which are boopSINE and boopSQUARE

Commands:
DialogueSound.enable_sound - Which will enable the SE
DialogueSound.disable_sound - Which will disable the SE
DialogueSound.set_sound_effect("SE NAME") - Which will change which SE is being used.

If you encounter any bugs let me know, I have tested it, but not in every possible scenario
Compatibility with other scripts is NOT guaranteed, especially any scripts that modify how messages are displayed.

VIDEO (I forgot to turn up SE audio before recording so that is why it's a little quiet):

(Portraits, and name tags in the video, are NOT part of this script.)

INSTALL:
Extract the files from the rar
Drag and drop all included folders in your game's root folder.

Works as it says on the tin! However, due to its simplicity (as well as the engine's simplicity), if you want to have different voices for different character then it may end up being a little annoying to set up.
A cool little script, adds a little life to the text, thanks
Today, in things I didn't know I needed… This brings so much memories of Mystery Dungeon.
