STORY:
The Hoenn region is unstable. The Mossdeep Space Center has detected a massive meteorite heading toward the planet. It could strike in months. Maybe even a few short weeks. As tensions rise and disaster looms, the balance between Kyogre and Groudon begins to break down.

You just moved to the Hoenn Region from Johto. Prove your skill by traveling around the Hoenn Region. Earn Gym Badges and prove mastery at the newly founded Battle Frontier. Never before experienced battles await you!
Pokémon Eternal Emerald is a remake of Pokémon Emerald using Pokémon Essentials v21.1. It retells the story of the original GBA game, but also adds extra content from Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire as well as adding all the quality of life changes from the newer Pokémon Games. This remake also introduces an entirely new villainous team and their mysterious motivations connected to Rayquaza.
Only those who possess the power to summon Rayquaza may have the ability to stop what is coming.

Your Save File used in the demo will not be usable in the final release as many things have been changed in the process. However if you beat all 5 Gyms in this demo you will get a nice Shiny Mega reward for the full release to use. As well as completing Pokemon Dark Rising Order Destroyed Reborn will give you a a few rewards as well to use.​

Small update to the demo that fixes a few minor bugs and adds support for reading the demo save file in the final release, allowing players to receive some cool rewards at the start of the full game, which includes a Shiny Mega Pokemon.

The final release is currently slated for April 2nd, 2026. While everything in the full game has been overhauled, this demo is still available for anyone who wants to see how the games in its original version.

If anyone has questions about the demo or the final release, feel free to ask!

Retry doing the event again. Sometimes it doesn't work the way I did it. I haven't worked on this demo in 4 years and this event doesnt take place in the final version so I guess I never fixed that since it works most of the time. I will post an update shortly that fixes this though.

Thank you for checking the demo out. You should be able to get a few rewards including the shiny mega. On a side note updated the link to fix that small bug.
 
Quick update! The full release will now be available on March 5th. I wrapped things up sooner than I expected.
Here’s a small spoiler of one of the final additions to the game which is a fun mechanic inspired by ORAS’s soaring. This is how you will land on the different Mirage Areas in the game.

Quick update! A few days ago I announced a March 5th release date, but I realized I mixed up my timeline. The full release is now planned for March 15th instead. I’m sorry for the confusion, and I appreciate your understanding.

I’ve also added a 2-minute YouTube trailer to the game’s forum page showcasing the game in better detail than images.
