Hey, just got to the part where I'm
in the Rocket base controlling Rei
and I've hit a snag with the
Rhydon passcode. It just isn't working, possibly due to some weirdness about it being a three number key but a four number entry thing, if that makes sense? Or it just wasn't set correctly. I tried it several times as both 0112 and 1120, no luck with either.
If that's not actually the solution here or there's something I'm missing/doing wrong, very sorry about that! This aside I've been really enjoying the update! I'll write out my full thoughts once I've wrapped everything up. Thanks!

I’ll be honest, I ran out of time. My bad for setting such an unrealistic deadline. I really thought I could keep up with the Jam’s pace, but I wasn’t quite there.
There’s still more I wanted to do, but I didn’t want to delay the release, especially with the new ZA around the corner (let’s face it, we’re all gonna be busy with that for a while 😅).
I’ll keep releasing content, but I won’t set a strict deadline this time. Instead, I’ll drop smaller updates, and once there’s enough built up, I’ll package it into Chapter 3. My goal is to make sure you have plenty of content to enjoy all at once.
I know I could’ve done more, but I spent a lot of time improving systems and little details. I did a couple of test runs and things shouldn’t have any major bugs… but who am I kidding, you guys always find something I’d never expect.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the story! Sorry it’s a bit on the short side this time :C. I’ll see you all soon.

Im not sure if the Communication thing works, since it just turns black then nothing happens, since i see that im supposed to find the password switch back then unlock the B2 but it doesnt seem to work
Edit : It has to be used from the Register function
Edit : Losing to Aila if you healed using Rei softlocks you as it TP's you to where you healed with Rei with your character
Edit : There is a way to lose 3 TM's being the one you have to do box puzzles for, im not sure which are there as i remember foul play and substitute, if you pick them up with Rei, you will not receive them and just lose them permanently
Edit : Leaving the whispering forest and clicking no sends you backwards which causes a perpetual loop of ''Do you want to leave the forest for now''

Thank you for the update. I'm waiting for all the patch implemented so i don't need to redownload. Trust me it's not your fault it's just currently wifi really precious here so I'm using internet quota because certain situations

There are a couple of panels, I had them locked until you obtained the correct password, but a tester suggested it would be better to leave them open so players could try each password directly in the panels. I double-checked, and it’s working now. Please let me know if you’re still experiencing any issues.

1-I knew you guys would end up finding something new 😅 Anyway, the Comm.Link bag issue has been resolved.
2- All fixed. The event wasn’t updating the respawn point the way it should’ve, but it’s sorted now. Which means yes… you can finally lose to
Aila
.😅
3- The TMs issue has also been fixed, I did something similar for other items but it seems I forgot to do those ... sorry. 😅
4- Fixed an issue that occurred when leaving the forest with Mia.
there is not a decent way to beat that challenge no way to train effectivly no way to change up your pokemon before each match and not healed in later ones making it so difficult to beat the entire challenge i was able to get through most but the later ones you need fully evolved pokemon but i love this game i hope there will be events later that the mc ends up in the hospital and depending on his relasionship with people it will determine who will visit
Yeah, that was a dev oversight on my part. The no-healing bug is fixed now, the rest is intentional (I promise 😅). It should be much more manageable. By the end of Chapter 2 you’ll have plenty of tools to make the challenge fair… or at least give you a fighting chance! Post a screen if you beat it and get the special reward and I'll include you as NPC for chapter 3.

So I'm in the room with nine levers in Fossilridge Ruins, having just beaten that one guy, and I cannot for the life of me figure out what the right combination is. I've found no visual clues anywhere in surrounding area, no dialogue clues, nothing.
Am I just blind?

Is everyone running into this issue? I meant for the puzzle to be a little tricky, but it looks like it might be too much… I’d recommend exploring the whole area from top to bottom.
Hint:
  • Not all switches need to be active.
  • Make sure to fall down every hole…

May need to look into this… I thought it was working as intended… how was the crash? Did it get stuck or the whole thing just died.
 
I’m currently working on Chapter 2, and with only a couple of days left I’m going insane. I’m adding some improvements including unlimited TMs and the Advanced Training area, where in the future you’ll be able to challenge trainers from the mainline games to earn special rewards or TMs. This part is still a work in progress and will be released progressively in smaller patches, but it already includes move reminders and trainers.


Vitamins will now increase IV values, since we can manually set the EVs, leaving their standard usage obsolete. I decided this was the best way to let players use their favorite Pokémon regardless of their original IVs.


Oh, and you can also find Waterfall in this chapter… but only if you do a side quest, not sure if that solves your specific issue. >.>
Take it easy so you don't get burnout and sick. Health is also important. We all love your game but seeing you sick is not an option
 
Is there anything I'm supposed to do before meeting Mia in the gym? I saved in my dorm before updating and completed all the side quests from the academy already. Is it glitched, or am I missing something else? I just can't find her in the gym.

Its not that hard you just have to be observatory as there is a hint to the combination, it took me like a hour to figure it out (it should realistically only take like 10 minutes at most) but when you realize it it makes you feel kinda dumb for missing it, so just keep looking

I was able to solve the puzzle, as you said not all the switches need to be active and to fall down every hole and to look carefully

This one’s a bit puzzling to me, could you share your save file so I can check the reason? She should be ready after her phone call…
However, keep in mind this is a purple quest (meaning it has an expiration flag… >.> Did I even mention that before?). If you completed the Whispering Tower ruin exploration, this quest will automatically fail if you haven't completed it yet. Just in case, check your failed quests to be sure. If this is not the case then please DM your save file so I can find out why did this happen.

Also, just so you know, Tomo’s quest can only be completed at night >.> because I’m a goober and, well… it fits.

I want to ask you guys so many things about the characters, but I’m honestly scared to. If someone accidentally guesses where the story is heading, I’d probably feel forced to change it, and that would drive me completely insane. 😅

Anyway, to make things easier for everyone, I’m linking the 0.3.4 Game File below so you don’t have to re-download the entire game. Just unzip, drag and drop it into the game folder, replace the older file, and boom, that should fix the Peppy crashes and take care of the small issue I mentioned earlier.

I’ve also added a new machine to the Research Facility to help you level up your Pokémon. >.> It costs $5000 per use, and for now only the Lv. 30 tier is unlocked after Chapter 2 is completed. It might not be super helpful right away, but in future updates it should come in handy for bringing along new Pokémon you catch during your playthrough.

And yes… I did consider just adding a trainer with a full team of Chanseys. But really, why waste your time like that? >.>

how to do the underground facility puzzle i got b3 but there the constant switching i dont understand what to do did i miss something i got to the third teleporter part is there a bug that prevents advancement

I may need a bit more info. You could be missing something, make sure to pay attention to the places you’ve already been. There might be something you still need to do.
 
Still intend to write out my thoughts on all the new stuff, but in the meantime I've been throwing myself at the tournament, and after many attempts, I finally did it. Without breaks. Which brings me to some unfortunate news:
I can't seem to find the Beldum. It's not in my party or my PC. It's registered in my Pokedex, though. Maybe the 4-party member restriction is lifted after the gift, and that screwed it up somehow? No matter the reason, it sucks, but I'm glad I made it through.
And if you're curious, my team was as follows: Froslass, Charizard, Kabutops, and Breloom.
 
i mean this the area before the meeting room the area to the left of that isnt that an item that rei should pick up because it doesnt show on rei side is there supposed to be an an item there or is that it the way it is supposed to be if not then it is a bug somewhere because i dont know how to advance from there

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan that sucks, I was sure I did it right. I’ll fix it tomorrow. Ahhhhhhhhhh 😱 I hope people don’t go for it until I fix it.
