for me it only evolved once it reached level 25, and has been the same case the 2 times i tried evolving it

for me salmini evolved around level 24-25 but it appears that it has either different evos or different forms for the evo which i have a guess about but no actual good reasons for my guess for me i'm more wondering how to evolve wether it's by sun stone or if there's some other method
