Alright, so v2.03 is available, which mainly just fixes that crash in Rumble cave, but also adds a couple of adjustments! Download the latest version Here!

Oh shoot, that's another mistake on my part... Yeah he's pretty important for progression, as he gives you a big nugget if you didn't have one already. I must've made a mistake when making an update, so I'll get that fixed as soon as possible!

What happened when you tried to update?

Did you press the "s" key after the battle during the cutscene? That is the button for autosaving, and that might have made some problems for you. If you can't figure out any way to unfreeze your game, try sending me your save file @ pkmnedgeofreality@gmail.com and I'll see what I can do.

So I checked the events and, as you said, the bottom events are bugged by an oversight of mine. If you enter through the top (the green circle), you should be fine. I'll upload a fix tonight or tomorrow morning. Glad you're enjoying the game!

Important Update! OK so this should be the final update for a while, but when I uploaded v2.01 a couple of days ago one of the biggest bug fixes wasn't in the update. I have just fixed it so please download the game again from the download link! Sorry for the inconvenience.
