Plot

A life of poor decisions has led you to this moment, the moment where you commit your greatest transgression. In the final moment, you are saved by a mysterious figure and given a chance at redemption. Can you, with your memories wiped and true goal unclear, fulfil the terms of your unbreakable covenant and be born anew? You must traverse the ethereal land of Varia and overcome the seven Vices that represent the aspects of your shattered heart, endeavoring to collect the mementoes along the way that will allow you to piece together your forgotten past.

quick question do the mints work?
Edit: Ignore my previous answer! They were indeed bugged (I guess in Essentials GSC by default?); I fix'd them now. Redownload to fix that and another glitch in Gym #1 that'll halt progress :]

rotom in the docs is not the right typing it says it's steel type but when I hit it with headbutt it was neutral

also how am i supposed to beat the rotom in the first gym?

That's Rotom! It's Electric/Psychic so it has a myriad of weaknesses, but it does have good defenses.

Just make sure you have a decent team around Lv13-Lv15 and you'll be fine though. It is only a Rotom :]

Mimi on the other hand does not have good defenses. Dark-type moves are your friend on the li'l fella, after you break its Cosplay (multi-hit moves are good for driving past this)! All it is is fast, really, and it has no recovery so you're golden just by attacking into it.
 
yyeeeaaahhh i dont think Cosplay is working correctly I am using a multi hit move but there no notification of it cosplay being destroyed.

It was absolutely NOT working as intended buddy! Dead right. I'd missed adding a li'l section to the code that made it work (it would've broken with SE hits though...!) if you redownload, that's fix'd now :]
 
In Port Charon some of the tilesets we arent able to move across like the beach area in like the lower area.
Also the Gate that connect route C and Port charon if you try to leave to route C you get sent to the starting area town (I dont remember the name)
If you sieep in the silver suite from the B&B you get softlock on the door.
The gold suite door that the 'Boos' is in is actually a warp to the Gate for Port Charon

  • Fixed issue with Mimikyu's COSPLAY not working correctly.
  • Fixed issue with collision on tiles in Port Charon.
  • Fixed issue with overflow text on MINTS causing crash.
  • Fixed issue with QUICKCLAW causing crash due to a "b." instead of a "battler"
  • Fixed issue with "rival" sprite not appearing correctly.
  • Fixed issue with PORT CHARON gate not working correctly, amongst others.
  • Fixed being able to rebattle shiny SUDOWOODO infinitely (boo!)
  • Fixed display issue with character sprite during fishing
  • Fixed issue with "rival" getting confused with their ace Pokemon.

If you have already downloaded, please now redownload to ensure everything functions correctly :]
 
i found another interesting bug maybe the other version had it idk but the tiles for the the "rival" are separated meaning i can fight them twice.
In Platinum Saucer probably a player event not happening that crash the game its a
'Game event' undefined method 'xm' for #<Game_Player:0x11641608>
I guess also add that the sidequest of the guy that stuck and need a gooey mon appear twice one still stuck the other free not sure what happen once you finish the quest.

Thanks again for the #bugreport! The only one I didn't manage to find a fix for is the crash in the Platinum Saucer? I just ran around there for a while and didn't experience it. Could you specify exactly where the issue popped up?

Absolutely loving it so far, but I also ran into the bug in Platinum Saucer that is preventing me from progressing any further.
It doesn't matter if I take the upper or lower path, the game always crashes in roughly the same area.
